Project Manager, Store Success

The Role

We need a Project Manager to own the entire store experience on our platform. You'll be the voice of retailers internally, diagnose their needs, and ensure every store succeeds. This role requires deep empathy for store owners and ability to built solution that scale.

What You'll Own:

• The complete store experience from first touch to daily usage
• Store onboarding, activation, and long-term success
• Retailer satisfaction metrics and retention rates
• Product roadmap for all store-facing features
• Store feedback loops and insight generation
• Adoption strategies for skeptical store owners
• Success playbooks that scale across store types

Core Responsibilities:

• Diagnose what stores need through data and direct conversations
• Identify how to analyze, growth stores and fix root causes
• Design loyalty programs that create sticky behavior
• Turn qualitative feedback into quantitative improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years in retail operations or merchant-facing roles
• Experience building trust with small business owners
• Track record of driving adoption and behavior change
• Strong analytical skills to identify patterns
• Startup experience and comfort with ambiguity
• Based in NYC (full-time in office)

Relevant Experience:

• Retail tech experience (Toast, Square, Shopify)
• DoorDash/Instacart merchant success or operations
• Retail distribution or CPG sales
• Small business partnerships
• B2B SaaS customer success
• Field sales or account management

• Building relationships with skeptical operators
• Creating simple solutions to complex problems
• Influencing product based on customer insights
