Seeking a Human Resource Manager for a successful manufacturing company based out of Pittsburgh, PA. This individual will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes for two manufacturing facilities.
The position will be based out of Pittsburgh, PA, and will support the HR efforts for plants in Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Travel to those sites will be required as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Handles routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements.
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
Manage the recruitment and selection process.
Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Administer pay plan and benefits program.
Contract negotiations.
Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports including EEO-1, organizational charts, labor agreements, and employee handbooks.
Assists with the preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.
Provides support and guidance to HR Assistant, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
