Weekend Personal Assistant – La Jolla

$25/hour | Flexible Schedule | Transportation Reimbursed

A kind elderly couple in La Jolla is seeking part-time help from a college student or recent graduate. The gentleman has limited mobility, and his partner is experiencing early-stage dementia. While longer-term care solutions are being arranged, they need someone dependable to assist with light errands and day-to-day tasks.

This is a great opportunity to earn extra income while doing meaningful work.

What You’ll Be Helping With:

• Assisting the gentleman in getting out of bed or a chair and providing steady physical support while moving around the apartment (must be physically capable and comfortable with this)
• Light tidying and organizing
• Running errands or occasionally transporting the client (e.g. groceries, doctor appointments, pharmacy)
• Basic meal prep or assisting with small tasks

Who You Are:

• Warm, respectful, and reliable
• Patient and comfortable around seniors
• Must have your own vehicle and be comfortable transporting the client if needed
• Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but not required

Location: La Jolla, CA

Pay: $25/hour

Transportation Costs: Mileage & parking reimbursed (for errands and client-related transportation only)
