What You’ll Be Doing

Our client is a cutting-edge robotics company focused on building humanoid robots that enhance—not replace—human capabilities. As a Robot Operator, you’ll be part of the R&D team helping train robots using VR technology. You’ll rotate through three key roles:

  • Robot Operator: Use a VR headset and gloves to control a humanoid robot in real-time. You’ll perform tasks like stacking blocks or moving objects—starting simple and progressing to more complex actions.
  • Scene Setup: Prepare and monitor the physical environment where the robot operates, ensuring everything is correctly staged.
  • Error Logger: Sit behind a computer and document any issues or errors the robot encounters during operation.

This role is not technical—you don’t need engineering or robotics experience. What matters is your VR experience, coordination, and ability to work professionally in a team setting.

Who Thrives Here

  • People with VR gaming experience (Oculus, Quest, arcade setups, etc.), whether personal or professional.
  • Candidates with customer-facing or sales backgrounds (e.g., fast food, retail, hospitality) who present themselves well and communicate clearly.
  • Individuals who are patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable doing repetitive tasks for long periods.
  • Those who are excited by innovation and want to be part of something futuristic and meaningful—especially if you’re passionate about accessibility and tech that helps people.

Requirements

  • Personal or professional experience with VR (gaming counts!)
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
  • Ability to work professionally and communicate well
  • Comfortable wearing a VR headset for 3–5 hours/day
  • Able to pass a background check (+ a drug test does not include THC)
