Job Description

Drill Tech is looking for a Visual Media Content Creator to capture our capabilities and services for both internal training and external marketing uses. This position is based out of our headquarters in Antioch, California, and includes occasional travel to project sites at various locations throughout the United States. Project sites are outdoors and may require physical exertion navigating uneven grounds. Active construction and the presence of large, heavy-duty equipment demands awareness and adherence to safety protocols. Therefore, candidates must be alert, able to quickly and accurately follow instruction, and positively respond to feedback.

We are looking for dependable, energetic, and team-oriented individuals with strong communication skills to work with a large diversity of personalities. A successful candidate will be eager to learn and grow with a dynamic company, working well in both team environments and independently. Candidates must be self-starters and creative thinkers that take initiative to seek out opportunities for creating content. This is not a temporary job, and only serious applicants committed to the position for a significant amount of time will be considered.

All equipment required for this position will be purchased by Drill Tech. The hired candidate will not be required to supply their own equipment to perform the duties of the position.

Primary Duties

  • Shoot & Edit Videos and Photos.
  • Coordinate with personnel (including the Safety Director, Operators, Project Managers, Superintendents, and any other necessary personnel) to gain access / conduct interviews / develop content.
  • Review all content with assigned personnel / upper management for approval.
  • Become familiar with Drill Tech scopes and services to accurately file documented content into our database.
  • Social Media Management (as applicable). This includes integration of content into Drill Tech's platforms such as the Drill Tech Website, YouTube, Instagram, etc.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent.
  • Remote Pilot Certificate, or ability to obtain one upon hire.
  • Strong videography and photography portfolio demonstrating proficiency with camera work and editing software. Samples including construction equipment, vehicles, landscape, and buildings are best for reference.
  • Social Media Management is a plus but not required for hire.

Compensation

  • Negotiable depending on experience.
  • Travel-related expenses will be covered by Drill Tech.
  • Fees associated with certifications and training programs obtained as a Drill Tech employee are reimbursable.
