Job Title: Telematics and Camera Coordinator

Reports To : Fleet Compliance Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Telematics and Camera Coordinator is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of fleet telematics and onboard camera systems. This role supports operational efficiency, driver safety, compliance, and data reporting across our organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Coordinate installation and troubleshooting of telematics and camera systems across the fleet.
• Collaborate with vendors to manage hardware issues and service requests.
• Maintain and audit data for accuracy and system functionality.
• Generate reports related to vehicle usage, driver behavior, fuel efficiency, and safety incidents.
• Train drivers and staff on the proper use and care of onboard technology.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Assist in investigations involving vehicle incidents using telematics and video data.
• Recommend improvements to current systems based on data analytics and operational needs.
• Maintains Telematics (GPS tracking) and Comdata software for set up and utilization.
• Maintains various database files and data/reports.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Experience in fleet operations, logistics, or transportation.
• Experience working with telematics, GPS tracking, or fleet camera systems.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new platforms quickly.
• Experience with platforms such as Geotab, Netradyne, or similar.
