Job Description

Ensures the safety & security of information systems while using data to improve our security posture and response capabilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead incident response efforts and forensic investigations, coordinating cross-functional teams for efficient resolution and post-mortem analysis.
  • Mentor junior analysts by providing technical guidance, feedback, and career development support to build team capability and resilience.
  • Partner with other departments and business stakeholders to design and implement best practices.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including procedures, runbooks, and response playbooks.
  • Champion continuous improvement across vulnerability management and secure software development practices.
  • Manage relationships with managed security service providers (MSSPs) and vendors to optimize external security operations and toolsets.
  • Execute senior-level responsibilities with autonomy, applying deep expertise in cloud environments (GCP/Azure), SIEM platforms, digital forensics, and endpoint security technologies.
  • Collaborate across the enterprise to align security initiatives with strategic business goals and risk tolerance.
  • Evaluating and integrating technologies to enhance overall security capabilities.

Job Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in Windows OS, networking, SIEM/log correlation, and cloud technologies (GCP/Azure).
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to influence without authority and foster a collaborative team culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Related field

Experience Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in information security, IT operations, and business enablement within enterprise environments.

Preferred Certifications but not Required

  • Sec+/CySA+
  • CISSP/CISM
  • GCIH
