Overview

This Recruiter role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment to attract high-quality and diverse talent across multiple job families. As part of a global recruitment team , the position requires strong consultative skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to influence stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on process improvement and candidate experience. This is a 12-month contract opportunity designed to make a measurable impact while enhancing global talent acquisition strategies.

Type: Contract, Hybrid in NY, NY

Schedule: Regular business hours

Duration: 12 months

Pay: $45 - $53/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible

Recruiter Duties

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation for internal and external candidates.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Provide data-driven insights and talent analytics to support recruitment decisions and improve metrics like time-to-fill, diversity, and internal mobility.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices to enhance team capability.
  • Promote and implement recruitment best practices and ensure a positive candidate experience for all applicants.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across HR, legal, immigration, benefits, and relocation functions.
  • Attend DEI events and career fairs to support diverse hiring initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with policies related to hiring, immigration, relocation, and referrals.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools to manage workflows efficiently.
  • Collaborate with external staffing agencies when necessary under a controlled framework.

Recruiter Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of corporate recruiting experience.
  • Must have experience in recruiting for roles in financial services, credit, or ratings environments - absolute must .
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems ( Workday preferred ).
  • Advanced sourcing skills and experience using multiple recruitment channels.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to interpret and act on recruitment data and analytics .
  • Experience advising hiring managers and influencing hiring decisions.
  • Strong adaptability, problem-solving, and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through hiring practices and event participation.
