Title: QA/RA Specialist

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay: $40/hr

Contract: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced QA/RA Specialist to support quality and regulatory operations in an FDA-regulated personal care/cosmetic manufacturing environment. This role involves overseeing compliance programs, managing audits, maintaining GMP documentation, handling product registrations, and supporting new product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and implement GMP documentation (SOPs, batch records, validations, etc.)
• Oversee internal and external audits (FDA, state/local agencies)
• Conduct cGMP compliance audits and monitor manufacturing practices
• Manage regulatory filings, product registrations (OTC), and label reviews
• Handle customer complaints, CAPA investigations, and root cause analysis
• Ensure domestic and international regulatory compliance (FDA, EU, Canada, Asia)
• Support product development from design to launch with QA oversight
• Operate and review lab equipment/testing for raw materials and finished products

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Life Science, Chemistry, or related field
• 5+ years QA/RA/QC experience in FDA-regulated cosmetic/personal care environment
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA, and global regulatory requirements
• Proficient in technical writing, documentation, and compliance reporting
• Skilled in auditing, complaint handling, and cross-functional collaboration
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Workspace
