Position: Material Handler

Job Summary:

The Material Handler I is responsible for providing the highest level of accuracy within each aspect of customer order fulfillment. This includes, but is not limited to, receiving product, stocking/replenishment, product selection, routing completed orders to the appropriate trailer, and maintaining a safe work environment. Utilization of computers will apply. Performance consistent with guidelines established by the Manager of Distribution and the Operations Management Team of the CSC will be essential. Adherence to the goals and philosophy of Sisters Mercy Health System, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct is required. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Education & Experience:

• Education: High School diploma
• Experience: 1-2 years experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Knowledge and experience with lot controlled and expiration dated product handling.
• Certification/Registration:Ability to operate forklift and rider pallet jacks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated mathematical ability to count accurately and
• follow written instructions.
• Must be able to manage multiple, complex instructions
• simultaneously.
• Ability to reach and lift supplies and boxes of reasonable weight.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and repetitively
• lift and carry a 50 pound load as exhibited during a post-offer
• functional capacity testing process.
• Ability to work long hours in a warehouse preparing and loading
• freight.
• Familiarity with computers and keyboard proficiency.

Background check and Drug Screen Required.
