This role will be performed onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Summit TRC is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Junior Systems Integrator to join our team. This Integrator will help maintain and test products supporting military UAS platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Linux and a passion for new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system-level integration and Hardware-in-the-loop testing of complex system components
• Use Linux command line extensively for testing, automation, and data handling
• Collaborate with other Software and Systems Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Optimize system performance and security
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of support and development
• Maintain excellent technical documentation hygiene
• Maintain cybersecurity best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field
• Experience with Linux systems and executing commands in the CLI
• Experience configuring and accessing virtualized systems
• Understanding of various scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Ability to work with external customers or stakeholders in a clear and professional manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with virtualization tools and hypervisors like VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V is a plus
