I recently have been retained by a Middle Market Investment Bank in Raleigh NC. The firm is seeking Investment Banking Associates to join their Industrials M&A team (Construction Materials). This group is looking for Associates with 1-5 years IB M&A experience. If interested in the role please reach out to me directly at: Kperron@forumgrp.com (818) 860-3219 Qualifications: ~ Bachelor’s degree required, major or concentration in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred. ~2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development with proven experience leading the full M&A process from origination through close. ~ OR 1+ years of similar experience paired with an MBA from a top-tier university. ~ Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling and financial statement analysis. ~ Proficiency with core valuation methodologies, including DCF, comps, and precedent transactions. ~ Proven leadership ability and sound independent judgment. ~ Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and listening—as well as strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. ~ Superior organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. ~ Demonstrated maturity, integrity, and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, team-oriented culture. ~ Genuine interest in the engineering and construction industry. ~ Experience with Pitchbook, S&P Capital IQ, and DealCloud is a plus.
