Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Technician or Manufacturing Process Analyst with proven expertise in Timer Pro software to support time studies and process documentation in a railcar assembly environment.
In this role, you will break down video footage of assembly processes using Timer Pro to develop accurate time studies and standard work documentation . Your contributions will directly support process optimization, labor balancing, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities:
Analyze video footage of train coach assembly using Timer Pro .
Break down tasks and processes to create detailed time studies .
Develop and document standard work instructions and process flows .
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to validate findings.
Support ongoing process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Travel to Sacramento, CA as needed (minimal, company-paid).
Must-Have Qualifications:
Proficient in Timer Pro software (this is a mandatory requirement).
Previous experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing analysis .
Strong knowledge of time studies , work measurement , and standard work creation .
Ability to work onsite 100% at the Lexington, NC facility.
Willingness to travel occasionally to Sacramento, CA.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles .
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
Education:
Engineering degree not required , but relevant industrial or manufacturing experience is essential.
