Job Description

We are a rapidly growing organization in the Parsippany, NJ area. We are seeking to hire a Bilingual Spanish-HR Manager to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Bilingual HR Manager with strong experience in manufacturing or plant environments to lead and support all aspects of Human Resources for a workforce of 150+ employees. This is a stand-alone HR position, responsible for developing and executing HR strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering employee engagement, and serving as a trusted partner to both employees and leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for all employees, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, and other HR regulations.
  • Oversee performance management initiatives, including coaching leaders on performance improvement, goal setting, and employee development.
  • Manage workers’ compensation claims and processes, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Handle employee relations and conflict resolution with a focus on fairness, respect, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Administer and track employee leaves (FMLA, personal, medical, etc.), ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Plan and coordinate employee events and engagement activities to foster a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Lead full-cycle HR functions, including staffing, onboarding, policy administration, training, and compliance audits.
  • Partner with plant leadership to align HR practices with business goals and operational needs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports, and metrics to support organizational decision-making.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and workplace best practices.
  • Proven experience managing performance management programs, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
  • Hands-on experience with workers’ compensation, employee leave administration, and safety compliance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a stand-alone HR role, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
