We’ve been retained on a unique Head of Finance search for a Series B frontier technology company (hardware + software) that’s transforming the way we see and understand our world.

This company operates a stratospheric robotic fleet — think high-altitude drones — to capture ultra high-resolution Earth imagery and deliver it as a Data-as-a-Service platform. Their technology is faster, cheaper, and dramatically more scalable than anything else in the market. Today, they can capture 80% of U.S. geography twice per year, providing an unmatched dataset that is reshaping how industries make critical decisions.

The Role – Head of Finance (First In-House Finance Hire)

As the first finance leader in the organization, you’ll report directly to the COO and take ownership of building and leading the finance function from the ground up. This is a foundational role with a true seat at the table, where you will:

• Build and own all finance functions including forecasting, reporting, and cash management
• Partner with leadership on strategic finance, board reporting, and fundraising
• Play a key role in scaling toward future growth stages, IPO, or strategic exit
• Embed with leadership as a trusted thought partner in shaping the company’s trajectory
