Job Description

The General Manager supports the a private business club in delivering a seamless luxury experience for members while overseeing daily operations. This role blends operational excellence, staff leadership, and refined service management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a luxury environment, is attentive to detail, and inspires their team to exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Member Experience & Hospitality

  •  Act as a day-to-day host and point of contact for members, ensuring every interaction
  • reflects our standard of discretion and refinement.
  •  Proactively anticipate and address member needs, ensuring personalized experiences.
  •  Maintain the presentation and ambiance of all club spaces to reflect brand excellence.

2. Daily Operations

  •  Oversee day-to-day activities, including reception, concierge, housekeeping, dining, and
  • event setup.
  •  Support the Club in implementing policies, procedures, and service standards.
  •  Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure consistency and quality.

3. Staff Leadership

  •  Supervise and coach team members to embody The Club values.
  •  Conduct daily briefings to set service goals and priorities.
  •  Support scheduling, onboarding, and performance development of staff.

4. Financial & Administrative Support

  •  Assist in creating monitoring budgets, expenses, and inventory control.
  •  Perform Accounts payable and run accounts receivable
  •  Manage vendor relationships and assist in procurement of supplies and luxury goods.
  •  Support reporting and operational analysis for leadership.

5. Events & Member Experiences

  •  Assist in planning and executing private events, member socials, and VIP experiences.
  •  Work closely with the culinary and beverage team to deliver exceptional dining and
  • event service.

Qualifications

  •  5–7 years of experience in luxury hospitality, private club management, or premium
  • service environments.
  •  Financial acumen with budgets, P&L, QuickBooks, accounts payable and receivables.
  •  Proven ability to manage teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences with
  • discretion.
  •  Strong organizational and communication skills.
  •  Familiarity with high-end dining, wine, and event management.
  •  Ability to remain poised and professional in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.
