Meridia Recruitment Solutions has partnered with Inland Technologies to recruit a Fluid Production Specialist to join their growing engineering team. This position is based in Denver, CO by the Denver International Airport.

Position Overview

The Fluid Production Technical Specialist works with a team to safely and efficiently run and maintain distillation equipment, ensuring high-quality service and the well-being of everyone involved.

Essential Duties

  • Oversee daily fluid production and guide the team to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Create and follow operating procedures that comply with environmental laws.
  • Use safety gear and maintain a clean, hazard-free workplace.
  • Ensure all equipment is maintained and stored properly.
  • Train and supervise Equipment Operators on proper procedures.
  • Assign and monitor tasks to ensure timely, accurate completion.
  • Keep paperwork and reports accurate and up to date.
  • Report equipment or operational issues to the Facility Manager promptly.
  • Assist with planning and completing equipment maintenance and upgrades.
  • Communicate equipment conditions across shifts for smooth transitions.
  • Operate and maintain fluid equipment such as concentrators and distillation units.
  • Manage the collection pit regularly and track volume and concentration details.
  • Monitor fluid volumes and ensure production meets quality targets.
  • Keep essential spare parts in stock to prevent downtime.
  • Perform light maintenance and help others build their skills.
  • Represent the company professionally and respectfully.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of fluid processing experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience in a related field an asset.
  • Ability to train and support team members for future growth.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changes.

Certifications/Licenses

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record that meets company insurance requirements. Must be able to obtain and maintain Airport Authority and TSA security clearances.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Equipment Operators report directly to the Fluid Production Specialist. This role also involves collaboration with other facility staff.

Work Environment and Hours

This role involves a mix of hands-on work in a production facility and office duties. While most work is indoors, there may be exposure to loud noise, machinery, weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles.

Some tasks may require work outside of standard hours to meet operational or customer needs. The preferred schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, 4 PM to 1 AM , but alternatives may be considered. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with potential schedule changes due to weather or seasonal demands.

Physical Demands

  • Physically fit to perform all job tasks.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, lift, climb, and reach for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment and move safely in high-risk areas.
  • Clear speech and hearing are essential.
  • Comfortable working at heights of up to 15 feet.
  • Visual requirements include near and far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
