Objective:
Support facility operations through safe, efficient, and compliant electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Essential Functions:
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting in industrial settings
- Diagnose and repair electrical components and systems
- Interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams for maintenance and installation tasks
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal codes
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and installations
- Adhere to company safety protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid electrician certification or license (as required by local jurisdiction)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical work
- Familiarity with electrical tools, diagrams, and safety procedures
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in plant/facility conditions
- Visual acuity sufficient for electrical inspections (corrective lenses acceptable)
- May require occasional interaction with external vendors or locations
