Join a small, family-owned courier business as a Full-Time Delivery Driver serving daily routes and on-demand deliveries throughout the Salem area and surrounding communities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Eighteen (18) years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Oregon driver's license to drive company vehicle
- No experience necessary this employer is willing to train qualified applicant
- Comfortable using GPS, delivery apps, and communicating by phone / text
Preferred (not required):
- Previous delivery experience
- Live in Salem / Keizer area for emergency calls
Job Duties:
- Drive a daily inter-office route and complete scheduled or same-day deliveries in all weather conditions
- Follow a route sheet and use a delivery app and / or paper Proof of Delivery (POD) slips
- Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers via company-provided phone
- Deliver a variety of items: medical supplies, lab specimens, oxygen cylinders, payroll, office supplies, plumbing / mechanical parts, and more
- Load / unload deliveries and use of hand truck or stairs as needed
- Take photos for delivery confirmations and send them via phone
- Maintain professional conduct while representing the company
- Works well independently and in a team environment
- Meet productivity expectations, organize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Employer Notes:
- Great attitude and professionalism expected; drivers are held to Department of Transportation (DOT) standards as professional drivers
- Park vehicle at your residence safely / securely, if you cannot please advise the employer
- Will bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach, sit, stand, push, pull, walk & lift up to twenty-five (25) lbs. of material on a consistent basis, & sixty-five (65) lbs. on an occasional basis, repetitive motions
- Work is performed primarily outdoors
- This employer conducts a drug test, a background check & a DMV records check before the first day of employment; no tickets and no "At Fault" accidents in the last five (5) years & no DUI within ten (10) years
Pay / Hours / Benefits:
- $15.25 per hour
- Consistent Daytime Hours: Monday through Friday, no weekends

- Paid Vacation: Start at forty (40) hours per year after ninety (90) days of employment
