Job Description:

As a Project Manager you will work closely with the President and Project Architect to effectively plan, coordinate and oversee the estimating and project management process. Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven record of strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and positive subcontractor relations. Currently, Create only operates in the Tampa Bay area, with a majority of work in St. Petersburg and Pinellas County area.

Salary and benefits are negotiable.

Primary Duties:

  • Put together GMP budgets for contract.
  • Put together subcontractor bid packages.
  • Buyout/Procurement of Subcontractors.
  • Perform constructability reviews of drawings.
  • Create project schedules.
  • Hold meetings with Owners and stakeholders to help establish the project budget/estimate.
  • Project manage at least two projects at a time, from design through construction.

Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to coordinate diverse activities, set timelines, budgets and specifications.
  • Ability to Read, Interpret and understand Architectural Drawings and specification documents to insure design intent is maintained.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
  • Exceptional time and man management skills.
  • Ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, to share, retrieve, research and present business information.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, and to identify relevant issues in solving problems.

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years plus of relevant commercial construction Project Manager experience, with project greater than $5 million in value.
  • College Education of at least a Bachelors.
  • Experience with project management software, estimating software, and well versed in Microsoft Office.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00+ per year
