Job Title:

Compliance Analyst – Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

Pay Rate:

$30-$35/hour (W2 Contract)

As part of a growing AML team, this position offers a unique opportunity to support financial crime prevention initiatives across a wide range of commercial banking activities. You’ll play a vital role in safeguarding systems and customers through enhanced due diligence, transaction monitoring, and process improvement. This is a contract role with long-term potential and visibility across the compliance function.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Conduct and validate Know Your Customer (KYC) assessments and AML Risk Scoring for new and existing business customers.
• Review Beneficial Ownership documentation and perform due diligence using internal and external data sources.
• Monitor customer transaction activity across financial products and flag suspicious patterns requiring escalation or SAR filing.
• Participate in periodic audits and assist in updating compliance documentation, forms, and internal tools.
• Support special projects and initiatives aimed at strengthening AML protocols and improving operational efficiency.

Here’s what our ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience in banking, financial services, compliance, or risk management.
• Familiarity with AML procedures including KYC/CIP, enhanced due diligence, and transaction monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, and risk factors related to business entity types and geographic exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as accounting, finance, business, or criminal justice (or equivalent experience).
• ACAMS or CFCS certification preferred, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
