Biomanufacturing Associate - Temp to Perm

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour + Night/Weekend Differential Pay

Overview:

Randstad is partnering with a leading biomanufacturing client in Durham, NC, to recruit for a Biomanufacturing Associate role. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team dedicated to the production of critical pharmaceutical products. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual for this temp-to-perm position, which offers a clear path to conversion based on performance and business needs.

Shift Schedule:

This role operates on a predictable 12-hour, 2-2-3 rotating shift, ensuring a healthy work-life balance with extended blocks of time off.

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Differential pay is provided for all night and weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing activities in strict accordance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), Aseptic, and GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
• Execute production activities by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and batch production records.
• Troubleshoot processes and mechanical issues to ensure efficient operations.
• Work with both automated and un-automated manufacturing processes.
• Perform accurate calculations related to biomanufacturing.
• Contribute to either the Downstream (Purification) or Upstream (Cell Culture and Media prep) processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must Have: A High School Diploma and a BioWork Certification with a minimum of 1+ years of related experience.
• Preferred: An Associate's degree (AA) in a Science-related field with 6+ months of relevant experience.
• A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform heavy lifting (25+ lbs.).
• Experience with process automation systems is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with specific equipment and software such as Column Chromatography, DeltaV, MyCims, or Oracle-based systems is a plus.
