Job Description

Summary

Per Se Group has an outstanding and unique full-time job opportunity for a Project Architect to work with our premier developer client in New Jersey. In this role, you will help support commercial construction and design projects. Examples of the type of projects you will work on include medical offices, financial services offices, retail retrofits, food production facilities, interior technology upgrades, and laboratories. As Project Architect, you will collaborate with our client's award-winning in-house team on complex design-build projects and be responsible for all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects. This is a hybrid role, featuring three days a week in office and two days a week remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary liaison contact with clients to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.
  • Works closely with in-house Project Management teams to actively manage client budgets and schedules.
  • Provides oversight and monitoring of the work of internal team members as well as consultants.
  • Responsible for code review and quality control for assigned projects and assists with these efforts on other projects as needed.

Preferred Skills and Expertise

  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience, including commercial projects
  • Registered Architect in New Jersey
  • Ability to provide drafting, detailing, specifications, and modeling support including, but not limited to, design presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, field coordination, and as-built documentation.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and BIM 360 platform

The approximate pay range for this role is $90k-$120k annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire and schedule type).
